My friends and relatives call me Reyad. To others I am Alam. I am from Bangladesh, where 85% people are Muslims.
I am a Muslim by chance. Al-hamdu-lillah !! I am luckier than "EuroMillions" winners. I've never seen my mother to miss her prayers and she never let my father miss his as well. But for me, my brothers and sisters....well, we followed them during our childhoods. year after year it became hard to follow. College, Uni, Friends, Getting around....you know all that things.
I used to lie a lot with my parents. I had to. They never allowed me to travel with my friends till I was 18 !! I had been in 33 cities of Bangladesh before that age, they Still Don't Know. I couldn't even shared the photos. But I don't lie anymore...I don't need to. That's what I call "Freedom".
......Started reading books outside of textbooks too early. It happens if you have elder brother and sisters with reading habit. Some books made me confused about Religion in my teenage time. But I sorted it out. When I was twenty, I came to UK (London) with a "prayer bump" on my forehead. I lost that Black Mark. How did I get that and how did I lost?....Long story.
......When surfing the internet I go for little bit of everything. Then try to stuck on something. Like to watch Islamic Lecture as much as I like to watch Movies, Documentaries, some TV shows. Love to listen Music from my Offline Collections.
I was there in UK for 5 years. Few things were totally new to me. AND who doesn't like to experience what's "NEW".
I moved to France 4 years ago. But where I gonna be in future that depends on her as well. May be it depends on YOU.
