Assalaamu 'alaikum,
I am British born and in terms of ethnicity, my family are originally from Srinagar, Kashmir (but have lived in Lahore for a few generations). I am the second youngest of 8 siblings.
I hold a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and am currently working as a Site Agent in the construction industry. I enjoy travelling and plan to continue doing so with my future wife insha’Allah.
I follow the Hanafi Madhab and studied some basic Fiqh when I was younger. Good character is at the core of our religion and I believe it is something we should all strive towards and make our priority in life.
I have a warm and friendly personality. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I stay active by playing sports including football and tennis. I also like trekking/ hiking/ long walks. More recently, I have also taken up horse riding.
I am looking for someone who observes hijab, has good adab, is gentle-natured and considerate. Someone who understands the rights and responsibilities of the husband and wife. Preferably someone who is educated.
