I'm a 23 year old male, from Alexandria, Egypt. Currently I'm in my last year of pharmacy school. I work part time as a Qur'an and Arabic teacher online, and as an ArabicEnglish Islamic translator. I memorized the whole Qur'an 7 years ago and have been a student of knowledge for about 9 years, although I have not yet reached a level I'm satisfied with. I also have a few ijazaat in smaller books of hadith. I had the honor of working in dawah for 9 years, and I currently work with a live chat online organization dedicated to giving dawah to non Muslims. Due to the presence of many students of knowledge (both Egyptians and foreigners) near where I grew up, I had the privilege of studying with them and teaching Qur'an to them, which was a defining point in my life. This made me most passionate about teaching Qur'aan and giving dawah, as I felt this was my real calling in life.
I come from a middle class family. My father is a retired civil engineer, and my two older brothers are doctors. My mother is a housewife. I am blessed to have a good number of close friends who are good, practicing people. I am very friendly and enjoy making friends and having positive relationships with others. Although I'm a bit of an introvert.
I am a very easy-going man who is not demanding or 'high-maintenance.' I like to lead a simple life that will allow me to seek knowledge and give dawah, while also ensuring I provide a comfortable life for myself and my family. I take my responsibilities very seriously, and would do everything I can for the wellbeing of my family. I have experience teaching children with success, so I believe I would be a good father in shaa Allah.
I'm very interested in learning languages. I already teach Arabic online to students at beginner and intermediate levels. I was able to do so because Allah blessed me with a natural ability to grasp languages and an interest in becoming better at them, which also allowed me to become fluent at English and use this to work in Islamic translation. I have studied Italian for 3 years in high school and Spanish for 6 months by myself, but I'm not very fluent at them, but I hope to become better at them. I enjoy reading, especially books of Islamic knowledge, and, to a lesser extent, books and research related to the field of pharmacy.
I'm looking for a practicing sister who wears hijab or niqab, prays the 5 prayers, maintains the general teachings of haram and halal, and is looking to become a better Muslim and help me become a better Muslim as well. She doesn't have to be a student of knowledge or to be practicing dawah, but she must value and understand the importance of knowledge and dawah, and be willing to try her best to learn and give dawah. With that said, fulfilling the responsibilities of the family and children is a great thing and can't be looked down upon, although it would help that I'm a very simple man who doesn't have too many demands or requires a lot of things.
I'm also looking for someone who works or is open to the idea of working in order to help support the family, if needed, although I would never pressure my wife into working if she doesn't want to.
