I hope you and your family are doing well iA. I am new revert, kind of, Alhamdulillah. I have been Muslim just over a year. Once I became informed about Islam, and talked to several Muslims, it was an easy choice.
About Me:
I work with computer chip architecture. It is interesting work, but a bit tedious. I get to work from home, but there are conferences and meetings I have to attend several times a year. Besides Islam, some of my hobbies include reading, learning, being politically/socially active, helping others, and playing board games. Also, there is nothing like an engaging and interesting conversation without browsing your phone. This leads me to a side note, I don't like to use technology when I am not working. As a computer is central to my work, I try to avoid it when I can.
Islam and Me:
I am not proficient in Arabic, but I can read it very slowly. I have memorized several surahs and I am always trying to memorize more. It feels like I have to play catch-up to people who were born Muslim haha. But, it is all about intention Alhumdulillah. I attend Jummah, pray, fast, and try to incorporate new sunnahs I learn about.
What Am I looking For:
I am looking for someone who is loving, loyal, affectionate, romantic, caring, thoughtful, and a best friend. I am a very affectionate person, and I want to be able to show it. Someone who always wants to be next to me and is supportive. Your location, nationality, and looks play no part in what I am looking for. It is about your heart, intention, and who you are as a person. Beauty fades. We get gray hair, gain weight, vision gets worse, but we can choose to always be a good person.
Islam and Her: Where you are at previously does not matter. It is your desire to learn and grow as a Muslima. To become better each day together is the type of person I am looking for.
