Possibly the most materialistic person you will ever encounter. Though my definition of materialism is somewhat different. I'm more interested in making things. Things that define us as a species and allow us to live such sophisticated lives instead of freezing naked in a muddy field. I'm more into jet engines, bridges, factories, silicon chips, surgical tools, nano machines than handbags and a BMW. Materialism for me is the how we prosper as a civilisation as opposed to selfish individual hedonism. We invented it, we made it work and it makes us who we are.

Incredibly analytical. I grew up taking things apart to learn how they work. Unfortunately that included some insects Details make up my world. I have to understand the mechanism and composition of everything because I like the ability to predict things. Very evidence based in my judgement. I just don't take peoples word for it.

Very physically active. I train my body for maximum performance instead of being on Hollyoaks. It enables me to explore the brutally rugged outdoors with confidence. Having a strong body is the best life insurance one can have.

What Do I do?
A material scientist specialising in metallurgical research/experimentation and modelling. On the final year of a PhD in the same field. Look forward to a long career as a scientist in research and development.

Where am i from?
Born in Dhaka, my family came over to the UK in the late 90s. Grew up in South London, did my first degree in Newcastle. Lived in Birmingham for almost 2 1/2 years for my research. Currently back in campus for the final few months of my PhD. Looking forward to moving abroad after finishing my PhD however. Preferably to Ontario Canada (especially the wonderful Toronto!) So please bear that in mind. I don't want to live in the UK for the rest of my life. Just bored of the geography, grey skies, narrow streets with ugly grey terraced housing

Why am I here?
Enjoying the wonders of the silicon chip age of course! Goofing aside, I'm here to find wife. Because thinking for myself is becoming suffocatingly empty. Someone to share a few square meters of private territory with and achieve true fulfilment of man women and children. Something that should be stable, soluble and permanent.

Who do i look for?
My "type" is is precisely that. Mine. Not something that's easily manipulated, manufactured by popular trends. I see human beings as 95% the product of their environment. We are all born with a clean slate. We are defined by our interaction with the world around us.

If you grew up playing with dolls and kitchen sets, reading more fictional literature than none fictional ones, watching soap operas instead of documentaries, chances are your brain works differently to mine You will find thing's that I enjoy as boring or pointless and vice versa. More importantly, there might be critical personality difference and viewpoints which might be insoluble.

Not a fan of overly feminine types. I don't think you would like someone who is a masculine extremist either. So a healthy balance between feminine (emotional intelligence, verbal reasoning ) with masculine one (spatial intelligence, logical reasoning, physical confidence) is needed.
