I don’t have a free spirit, I am the free spirit. That is the first thing to know about me. I don’t accept any rule any norm any role any tradition or culture that comes to me from another ear. I read, I question and I conclude my norms with the brain that Allah gave me. So basically I’m not someone who rents his mind to some Hoja or so called spiritual leaders. I don’t believe in the traditional roles of men and women, because they derive from patriarchal system not from Qur’an nor prophet’s life. In fact prophet himself was a person who was participating in house cleaning etc. Not ‘helping’, ‘participating’. I do not believe that the women are created to satisfy men’s needs. Then Allah c.c would create robots that all look beautiful and do whatever the men wish. Women are also able to be leaders, to express their opinion and perform it as well.
