On the surface, Mr Omar Faruque is a Barrister (unregistered) in England and Wales and an Advocate on the Roll of Bangladesh Bar Council. He has the right of audience to all the courts and tribunals subordinate to the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Omar is a general practice lawyer. He has the ability to deal with criminal cases as well as civil claims with particular interest in the latter. Currently, Omar has the primary pre-occupation with the study of law and society. Stockpiling theoretical knowledge and developing soft skills of a socio-legal researcher, Omar seeks to function in a wide array of sectors including Civil Service, NGOs, and Lawyering.
Omar is a practicing muslim of Sunni (Hanafi) orientation. From an upper-middle class family in Dhaka, he bears the values of South Asian Muslims. In the Great Kingdom, he lives alone, is open to relocate. Omar loves exploring new places and culture. Driving and riding (Car and Motorbike) are his hobbies. Discontinued bodybuilding in 2018 after seven years in a row, Omar has athletic built, not too tall neither short (five-eight), weighs around 60kg year round. He loves to try new dishes within the calorie budget for the week.
Omar is looking for his best friend, under the auspices of a wife. The wifey should ideally be a practicing muslim as well. Genesis and background does not count as Omar believes we are destined to what we are today saving conscious thought formulations and ill-motives. A practicing muslim is free from both!
