I was born in the UK and am one of several siblings. My two older siblings are married and the younger ones are still in education. Our parents moved to the Middle East from the UK when we were quite young, so I have had the privilege of experiencing contrasting cultures, and also living in a cosmopolitan city with a broad mix of nationalities. I attended a British expat school and later returned to the UK to complete my A levels and higher education. I completed a law degree, followed by a MA in the UK. I then worked in Qatar for a while but am now currently based in the UK working as a commercial lawyer.
