Here's a bit about me
I’m 29 years old, born in London, and grew up in the States. I have a BS in Biology and a MA in Arabic. I am currently working as a clinician and I'm in the process of completing my doctorate in clinical psychology as well. I have an interest for Islamically-integrated psychotherapy and working with patients who suffer from trauma and other early-life adverse experiences. I am also a hafidh of the Quran alhamdulillah, and spent six years studying Arabic/Islamic studies abroad in the Middle East. I am someone who is very involved in the community and very passionate about the work I do (both in psychology and in the masjid). In my free time I enjoy learning/reading (esp Islamic topics), playing and watching football, working out, swimming, fishing, traveling, skiing, and above all, spending time quality time with family and friends. As for languages, I speak English and Arabic fluently, and I can speak in Gujarati and Urdu to an extent.
