My name is Ismail and I am Turkish born in america. I have spent my entire life basically in California. I would love to say that I am an all-around great guy, but Allah knows best. I have practiced since I can remember.
My family is from Turkiye and always have been practicing. Allah continues his favor upon us. We have lived in the United states for +20 years.
I am currently a student that studies both online and in person. My weekdays revolve around working but i still visit the masjid on a daily basis. I read Quran and visit the masjid when I am free from my school work or my job. Weekends I visit a dars with a group of my brothers and we study the books of various shaikhs both old and contemporary. I enjoy my family time so I also set aside a day to teach my younger siblings on matters of deen and then enjoy some activity as a family whether it be food or an outing. I study tafseer, hadith and general Islamic knowledge on my own free time.
