I love reading, writing, studying and everything education-related. Studies can be hard sometimes but it's the one thing in my life I'm truly passionate about. I aspire to be a good teacher in the future In Sha Allah. Seeking knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim and wisdom is the lost property of the believer.

The Quran, in verse 4:1, reminds us of the fundamental bond between husband and wife. It emphasizes that all human beings are created from a single soul, and from it, Allah created the mate. This bond between a man and a woman is not a coincidence but a deliberate act of creation by Allah. The verse further highlights that through this bond, countless men and women have come into existence.

By acknowledging this divine origin of the marital relationship, the Quran calls upon us to honour and cherish our spouses. It emphasizes that marriage is not merely a social contract or a personal relationship, but a sacred act of worship towards Allah. As such, we are obligated to treat our spouses with the utmost respect and reverence.

In essence, the Quranic verse reminds us that the institution of marriage is deeply rooted in our shared human ancestry and is a means of fulfilling our religious obligations. It calls upon us to recognize the significance of the bond between husband and wife and to honour it as a manifestation of our devotion to Allah.
