My name is Amir. I am an Imam, scholar and entrepreneur. I am 33 years old and I am from New Jersey, USA. I am fluent in Arabic as well as a hafidh of Quran. Alhamdulillah.
I am quirky, adventurous and studious. I am serious when I need to be and an absolute goofball when I need to be. If you're familiar with the MBTI personalities, I would be a balanced INTJ. I strive to strike balance in every aspect of my life. In terms of my character, I enjoy being laid back and easy going. I adhere to Quran and Sunnah and do my best to follow the examples of all Prophets, Messengers and upright Muslims.
I enjoy traveling, snorkeling and going on walks when I am not busy studying, teaching or preaching. In regards to my Islamic interests, I have an unquenchable thirst for Islamic knowledge. I will never have enough and I am always looking to learn and implement the next thing.
I come from a big Muslim family. I am the 6th child of 9 total. My mother (may Allah have mercy on her) taught us to love Islam and that Islam was the coolest religion ever. My father who is also an Imam, taught us to appreciate knowledge and to pursue it relentlessly. And from both we learned to implement all that we can and be the best human and Muslim we can be.
