Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
I am a 24-year-old man living in Toronto, Ontario. Alhamdulillah, I always try my hardest to pray 5 times a day at the masjid. I wear a Jubbah and Topi (Head Covering) everywhere in public on almost every occasion, except work. I work at The Home Depot as a sales associate Alhamdulillah. I am a student at the University of Toronto, however am currently on a hiatus.
I always try very hard to fulfill the commands of Allah. I try giving dawah to people as often as possible and trying to bring yaqeen into my heart about the reality of this world, which is that it is a test. I have a very close and warm relationship with my parents and my sister. I stick with the community in the masjid and avoid mixing with people that may negatively impact my iman. I like spending family time and learning and teaching the Sunnah and reminding myself and others about Allah and his promises. I value communicating and building healthy meaningful relationships with people. I prefer to spend my free time improving myself or spending time at the masjid.
I don't watch any TV shows or listen to music or watch movies. I only stick to non-fictional content like learning something from a documentary or watching YouTube to learn how to do something.
I am looking for someone who is similar to myself who will help me complete half my deen and grow together. It is a minimal requirement that you are someone who enjoys wearing a niqab and is highly punctual with salat. I also give time in the path of Allah by partaking in Tableegh jamaat. I try to give 3 days a month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), where a few brothers get together at a Masjid and spend a weekend learning and teaching and improving Quran recitation. We engage in activities that took place in Masjid un Nabawi, like giving dawat. We also visit brothers at their homes just to give a small reminder about the shortness of this life, the vastness of the hear after, and the greatness of Allah.
