Let me introduce myself;
I was married for almost 17 years and was blessed with 6 beautiful kids, eldest son and 5 daughters, 5 of them are teenagers. I've been divorced for 2 years and I have spent the last 2 years taking care of my kids as they are living with me. Alhamdulillah I'm doing fine taking care of their wellbeing and development, especially during their critical years and after a life changing event like divorce. Our separation was amicable and Alhamdulillah our kids are able to accept as qadr Allah. I've been on this site for a while but not really into it as my focus was on my kids development and wellbeing. I believe the time is right for me now to start again in finding my journey companion.
I'm financially stable, neither rich nor poor, Alhamdulillah Allah's given me the skillsets to manage finance that balance work and family. I'm currently residing in Adelaide Australia and working as a custodial officer in a detention centre managing the wellbeing of people in detention. I've just completed a post grad in psychology and transitioning to work with kids at risk. InsyaAllah I'm starting my master in counseling and psychotherapy and looking to be a registered counselor in 2 years time. Prior to this I completed an IT degree and masters in strategic studies. The experiences in work and family has lead me to be a calm and open person and an active listener. I'm not easily angered and listen to others to understand and acknowledge others feelings and concerns.
I was born in Singapore of a Pakistani heritage but adopted the Malay culture where my mother was from. Thus I'm easily adaptable to different people and culture. I enjoyed varieties of food and I myself cook for my kids, Malay, Chinese, Indian and Western.
I'm serious about marriage and I welcome you into my family. Not to worry, I'm not looking for a replacement for a mother, I'm looking for a companion and a life partner for my journey back home to our Lord. I always refer myself as a Musafir in this life journey. I have not stop praying to Allah to bless me a great partner in this journey. Ameen.
