Salaam Alai Kum. I am a revert to Islam. I am moderate in the practice. And still have a lot to learn and look forward to you being my teacher as well. I have a disability and walk with a cane as a result of a car accident. I have some back and leg injuries. I do physiotherapy and gym exercise to overcome these new challenges in life. I know it is a test from Allah. I have good days and bad days. Allah knows best. I have had two careers in life. One is sales and the other in distribution for a pharmaceutical company. I am originally from the Islands of the Caribbean. I speak with an accent. " Yea Man " As an ethnic minority I look and sound way more exotic than most of the brothers on here. I also know more about the different cultures as well. I have traveled to 5 different Islamic countries and 3 non Islamic ones. And have made Hajj once and Umrah 2 times. I can't wait to go again. I have lived a long life and have become a mature man, with lots of life experiences. Things that younger men can only dream of. I am a man who loves to eat. And I want to enjoy things in life. And not slave away at the gym all day. Or be on a diet of protein shakes and salad. I do work out be in moderation. Despite what my friends say, I consider myself a vegetarian.... Cows are made of grass don't you know! I have a good sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Yes ladies, I am a bad boy. I am bad at cooking. Bad at cleaning. Bad at laundry. Bad at... Well you get the picture. But women like bad boys right? I also consider myself a lawyer, because I watch lots of Judge Judy. I am a laidback and easy going person. I don't like arguing and fighting. But I am no door mat either. I put my foot down and take charge when I have to. I am happy most of the time and would like to keep it that way. I am involved in volunteer work at different Mosque in my community, and at the local food bank. I am handy with tools and do most of my repairs and renovations. I am currently teaching myself to play the guitar. We all need to have some passion in life right? There is more I would like to say, but I would share that in private.
