My name is Benjamin Bilal, I'm still going to school and will hopefully obtain my "Abitur" - a special kind of graduation - next year. After that I'm looking forward to go to university in Frankfurt, insha Allah. I'm also a helper at Islamic youth camps and events, and overall really enjoy working with children. Additionally, I like writing and blogging about Islamic topics and issues. I'm fluent in German, English, and I'm currently learning Arabic. Actually, I'm earning some extra money as a German/English translator... Oh, and also, I've got terrible French ^_^ Other than that, I enjoy movies, series, anime, video games and stuff like that.
In general, I would describe myself as a person that's up for every kind of fun and nonsense, on one hand, but on the other hand you can also have very serious and profound dialogues and moments with me. Always depends on the situation. In terms of my belief: I'm not an ultraconservative Salafi/Wahabi and I'm not an ultraliberal modernist. I'm a Sunni Muslim that mostly follows Imam Abu Hanifas school and has tolerant, modern and suitable opinions.
I want a marriage full of love, fun and efforts to serve God. A middle way between those three points would make the perfect covenant for me. I'm not a flawless human being and I don't expect my future wife to be. However, we should always support each other, deal with our flaws and mistakes in a positive way, and always try to improve and gain Islamic knowledge for Allah. Also, wearing Hijab or planning on doing so would be important to me.
In terms of age, 18 to 20 would be perfect. But don't hesitate if you're a little bit above or below.
