It is narrated from the words of Abdullah ibn ' Umar that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
"Last night I saw myself (in a dream) at Ka'b, and saw a dark man, who looked like the best dark man you've ever seen. He had beautiful, well-groomed locks (of hair) that you've only ever seen, and they were dripping with water. He made the rounds of the Ka'ba, leaning on two men (or: on the shoulders of two men). I asked: "Who is this?” (I was) told: "This is the Messiah, the son of Maryam."
This hadith was narrated by Malik 1640, Ahmad 2/122, al-Bukhari 5902, and Muslim 169. Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See "Sahih al-jami' as-saghir " 869.
