- I don't listen to music
- I don't wear false nails, false eyelashes or false hair extensions
I would describe myself as a fairly simple person who isn't very materialistic, i.e. into designer items, branded names or the latest gadgets. I keep myself to myself such that I don't have social media where I have the need to share personal aspects of my life. The only social media I use is YouTube. I like to keep fit and healthy as much as I can as our body is an amana from Allah S.W.T., but I don't follow any strict diet or exercise plan.
I am committed to fulfilling my religious obligations by praying the 5 daily fard salah and performing the sunnah prayers. I also make it a daily habit of reading sura mulk and the last two ayahs of surah bakarah. My goal is to learn Quranic Arabic in order to gain a deeper understanding of the Quran and apply its teachings in my life. I try to better myself through self-improvement in order to improve my character and address my imperfections, this includes avoiding the use of profanities, cursing, backbiting and gossiping. I aim to treat others as I would like to be treated, with kindness and respect.
When it comes to the way I dress, I dress modestly, wearing loose clothing that isn't see through or tight and doesn't reveal my awrah, i.e. maxi skirt, baggy tops and sweaters. I also don't wear makeup or perfume that's overpowering. I wear the hijab and have attempted to wear the niqab on 4 occasions but found it to be suffocating. However I wish to wear it again in the future ان شاء الله. Just need to find ways to make it more comfortable.
Hobbies: I like to read non-fiction books on various topics such as self-improvement, health, fitness and Islamic knowledge. I also like to bake, cook and go on hikes.
