I am now studying in the Open Islamic University and in September I will In sha Allah start my second semester in the bachelor degree in social science. I choose to study Islam because I wanted to gain knowledge to have the right Aquida. I heard and learned that this is the most important thing and by only watching youtube videos it will not help much. Alhamdulilah, I live in a country where the most muslim are Sunni but some of them have strange ideas about Religion. So I thought that the best thing is to learn from a Islamic school and to learn everything in Islam.
A great passion of mine is to travel. I love to travel and sightseeing. I was in Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Croatia and other beautiful countries. I like to see the different culture. I was a few years ago in Istanbul. It was wonderful. I liked to see so many muslim people in a western country. The people were friendly and the are some of them who talk to you to have a good small talk. I remember that a citizen talked about the school system with us in turkey. It is special to see how the resident feel about their country. I also enjoyed the food. They have some excellent dessert. The prominent are the baglava, the Künefe or the Tulumba. But my favorite was the trelaze. I don’t know if it’s a Turkish dessert but it is delicious. Besides the wonderful dishes I appreciated the mosques. A big problem in foreign country is where to pray. There is no a such a problem. You can even pray in congregation in the biggest mosques. And you can almost hear everywhere the adhan. It really strengthens your Iman and you don’t have to worry about prayer times. It think I will go there in sha Allah with my future spouse. I was delighted to see the Agia Sophia and the Sultan Ahmed mosque.
