God said in Surah Al-Rum: And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may find tranquility in them, and He has placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who reflect.
He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: If someone comes to you whose religion and character you are satisfied with, then marry him. If you do not do so, there will be strife on earth and great corruption, and according to one narration, widespread corruption.
